DNAPointer System and Multitemperature single strand conformation polymorphism (MSSCP) method are fast and effective tool for minor genetic variants and SNP disocvery and detection in one run. Due to its high sensitivity and reproducibility, MSSCP could be applied to a large-scale screening genotyping or/and detection of minor genetic variants within heterogenic material (oncology, virusology). After MSSCP electrophoresis, single stranded DNA (ssDNA) bands could be cut out of the gel, DNA recovered and sequnced.

DNA Pointer System is an open platform, which enables implementation with high quality results different electrophoretic assays, such as:

– SSCP (Single Strand Conformation Polymorphism)

– MSSCP (Multitemperature SSCP)

– DGGE (Denaturating Gel Gradient Electrophoresis)

– TTGE (Temporal Temperature Gradient Electrophoresis)

– CDGE (Constant Denaturating Gel Electrophoresis)

– STR (Short Tandem Repeats)

– HA (Heteroduplex Analysis)

For optimal results we reccommend dedicated reagents for electrophoresis and gel staining. For more deatiles about our reagent, please check the products list.
